Finally! My new camera has arrived. Canon Rebel XT. I am so excited. Now...if only I could figure out how to take a damn picture. Better read the manual for this one! As you can see my cat Boo Boo is eager to be my first subject!

Nice choice in camera!!! hehe, I may be a little partial as I have the same box and camera sitting on my own desk.
My advice would be to shoot on Auto for a bit and then go back and check the settings the camera picks out for you. That's how I taught myself to use my camera! (I have something against manuals...)
What a beautiful camera (and kitty too!) Now we better see some glorious photos coming. :)
Congrats on the Camear Becky! Good for you, have lots of fun, take pictures of everthing and anything, with practice you'll get the hang of it!
